Donna Brazile is the founder and managing director of Brazile & Associates LLC, a general consulting, grassroots advocacy, and training firm based in Washington, D.C. A television commentator who appears regularly on CNN and on ABC News, Ms. Brazile has worked on numerous political campaigns since the age of nine, culminating in 2000 when she was the presidential campaign manager for Vice President Al Gore. She is currently Vice Chair of Voter Registration and Participation at the Democratic National Committee, and former chair of the committee’s Voting Rights Institute, which was established in 2001 to help protect and promote the rights of all American citizens to participate in the electoral process. Ms. Brazile has received the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s award for political achievement, and was named by Washingtonian magazine as one of the “100 Most Powerful Women” and Essence named her one of the “Top 50 Women in America.” An adjunct professor at Georgetown University, she is also the author of the best-selling autobiography Cooking with Grease: Stirring the Pots in American Politics.
