Place Matters Technical Assistance Request Form

PLACE MATTERS (PM) technical assistance supports Team efforts to enhance community capacity for mobilization and action to address the social, environmental, economic, political, and behavioral determinants of health.

PM technical assistance involves three objectives: 1) to provide technical and programmatic direction to Teams; 2) to provide Teams with practical or specialized knowledge to assist in the development of strategies to achieve health equity 3) to help establish or enhance programs or activities.

PM TA is administered through several avenues, including but not limited to:

• Onsite technical assistance.
• Offsite technical assistance (via telephone, e-mail, Internet, distance learning, etc.).
• Peer-to-peer information exchange and mentoring
• Information sharing.
• Conferences (agenda development, speaker identification, and logistical support).
• Workshops and training events (agenda development, speaker identification, and logistical support).
