San Joaquin Valley PLACE MATTERS Team featured on ABC30

The San Joaquin Valley Place Matters team was featured on ABC30's Latino Life segment on June 6, 2010.  The segment focused on a study focusing on regional equity by zip code, conducted by the Central Valley Health Policy Institute, and the San Joaquin Regional Equity Forum held on May 26, 2010.

This program was hosted by the San Joaquin Valley PLACE MATTER's team, via the Central Valley Health Policy Institute and shared new research about how lost lives and avoidable hospitalization are linked to our social, economic, and environmental factors.  The aim of the all-day forum, entitled "Place Matters," was to lay the groundwork for a cross-cutting regional equity and civic engagement agenda across the Valley.  To learn more, click here.
