Since the national broadcast of the PBS documentary Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making Us Sick?, the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, Health Policy Institute has taken a leading role in partnering with other organizations and individuals to foster public engagement around Unnatural Causes and health equity issues. Key partners include the Intercultural Cancer Council, the National Healthy Start Association, the Black Women's Health Imperative, and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Health Brain Trust.
