A Way Out: Creating Partners for Our Nation's Prosperity by Expanding Life Paths of Young Men of Color

Drawing on the background papers and proceedings of the Dellums Commission's deliberations, this final report offers a policy agenda to improve the life options of young men of color. It provides an overview of the impact of failed public policies on young men of color as well as policy recommendations to address the social determinants of health that affect the life paths of these youth. The agenda encompasses a range of critical issues in the areas of health, education, family support and child welfare, workforce and economic development, juvenile and criminal justice, and the media.
