The Future of Children. A publication of The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and The Brookings Institution, The Future of Children seeks to promote effective policies and programs for children by providing policymakers, service providers, and the media with timely, objective information based on the best available research.

Maternal and Child Health Bureau. A bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Includes programs and publications focusing on health care, prenatal care, new born screening, preventive care, research and more. 

Board on Children, Youth, and Families. addresses a variety of policy-relevant issues related to the health and development of children, youth, and families.

Child Welfare League of America. CWLA is an association of more than 900 public and private nonprofit agencies that assist more than 3.5 million abused and neglected children and their families each year with a range of services.

Children Now. A national organization for people who care about children and want to ensure that they are the top public policy priority. Initiatives include programs in health policy, education, child care, and talking with kids about AIDS, violence, drugs and alcohol.

Connect for Kids. Mission states: “Connect for Kids makes the best use of communications technologies, specifically the Internet, to give adults – parents, grandparents, guardians, educators, advocates, policymakers, elected officials and others – the tools and information they need to work on behalf of children, youth and families”.

World Bank Early Child Development. The ultimate goal of Early Child Development (ECD) programs is to improve young children’s capacity to develop and learn. ECD interventions include educating and supporting parents, delivering services to children, developing capacities of caregivers and teachers, and using mass communications to enhance parents and caregiver's knowledge and practices.
