Joint Center Report Boosts Paternal Involvement in Black Families

Charging that single parenthood is “an epidemic” in African American communities, the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies has released a report calling for a change in private and government policies which will increase the involvement of fathers in child rearing – starting with pregnancy.

The report was released by the Center’s Commission on Paternal Involvement in Pregnancy Outcomes (CPIPO).
