The Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies held its 2011 Annual Gala on May 3, 2011, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, DC. The Honorable John Lewis (D-GA) served as keynote speaker and was honored with the Louis E. Martin Great American Award.
