On December 3, 2010, the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute at Hunter College hosted a health policy conference entitled National Health Reform and Eliminating Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Health and Health Care. Dr. Brian Smedley, Vice President and Director of the Health Policy Institute at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, made the opening key note speech at the conference.
