Joint Center Board Elects Four New Members
January 29, 2013

A Microsoft executive, a voting rights expert, a University of Notre Dame professor and a prominent Washington lawyer have joined the Board of Governors of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, one of the nation’s leading research and public policy institutions.

At a recent meeting, the board elected Frederick S. Humphries, Jr., Vice President of U.S. Government Affairs for Microsoft Corporation, Professor Spencer Overton, Director of the Political Studies Law Initiative at The George Washington University Law School, A. Scott Bolden, Managing Partner of the Washington office of the global law firm Reed Smith LLP, and Dianne M. Pinderhughes, Ph.D., Full Professor of Africana Studies at Notre Dame University, to serve three-year terms.
