The Board of Governors of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, one of the nation’s leading research and public policy institutions, has elected longtime Washington operative Robert Raben to a three-year term on the board.
Mr. Raben, who served in a senior Justice Department post during the Clinton Administration, is President and Founder of The Raben Group, which works to drive progressive public policy through strategic planning, communications and coalition building. Most of the firm’s clients are non-profit organizations, including LGBT and Hispanic-rights groups and legal organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Health Law Program and the Mexican American Legal and Educational Fund.
