The Design Lab held on September 20-22, 2006 in Lisle, IL was the second of the series of PLACE MATTERS Design Lab meetings. We welcomed returning participants, expert presenters and our new PLACE MATTERS Community Strategy Teams from Jefferson County, AL, the District of Columbia, and Marlboro County, SC.. This meeting built on the previous concepts presented in the Design Labs Concept Paper from our first meeting in Reston, VA.
